Our Story

Akshara International Education was established in 2019 with a clear vision: to provide honest, transparent, and practical guidance to Nepali students who want to study, work, and build a career in Japan.

Many students face confusion because of misinformation, unrealistic promises, and complicated procedures. Our founder's own experience as a student and working professional in Japan helped shape Akshara's approach.

We believe that successful preparation starts before leaving Nepal. Today, Akshara supports students and candidates with Japanese language education, career guidance, preparation, and connections with Japan-side institutions and organizations.

Janardan Giri

Founder & CEO

Janardan Giri has experience across Japan education, Japanese language, international business, and tourism, with a professional journey shaped by both Nepal and Japan.

Early Professional Experience in Nepal

Former tour & trekking guide in Nepal — Guided international travelers through the Himalayas and worked with people from different cultural backgrounds.

Japan Experience

  • 2013–2015: Japanese language study in Tokyo
  • 2015–2019: Worked at Totech Corporation, Tokyo
