Ikusei Shurō (育成就労) is Japan's new employment and skill-development system designed to develop foreign workers' skills through employment in Japan while supporting the development of human resources needed in designated industrial fields.
The system is scheduled to begin on April 1, 2027, replacing the existing Technical Intern Training framework for new entrants.

One of the important objectives of the new system is to develop workers who can acquire skills and progress toward Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) employment.
